Yesterday I spent 8 hours filling out form f1023. This is one of the forms that must be submitted for the Freethought Film Festival Foundation to be considered for approval of 501(c) 3 exemption as a non-profit, charitable, educational organization that would make contributions to FFFF tax-deductible for our donors. Although even after 8 hours of filling out the form and writing all of the necessary explanatory attachments, I am not yet finished...but I am close! The only part I have yet to complete is Section H. This has to be filled out since FFFF is going to be awarding scholarships to filmmakers enrolled in an accredited college or university or attending high school, whose film was selected for screening for the film festival, and is the best of the best in their category.The International Humanist and Ethical Union has become an official endorser of the Freethought Film Festival Foundation.
